For many years when I was selling houses, I used to think that it would be SO wonderful to be able to advise Sellers on preparing their homes for sale but it was NEVER done by the Real Estate Agents.  When an agent had the nerve to talk about things like paint color or pet odor,etc. it was usually met with resistance.  Sellers wanted them to "just sell the house" and the Eastern Massachusetts market was a Sellers market for a long time. When we wanted to put our house on the market,we knew it needed some fixing up but did not know how much to invest in the house.  I had heard about "Home Staging" but didn't know alot about it. I searched the internet and found the Accredited Staging Professional web site . Marianne's biography and web site caught my attention so I called her.

The staging experience was wonderful. Her recommendations for remodeling the master bathroom ended up saving us money. She gave great suggestions on how to set up the house to view better for selling and even picked out some items that we needed to buy and recommended contractors to help with some of the work we needed done.

Not only did the staging process make the house look better, it also made the packing and moving job easier because there was less junk in the house and things were much more organized.
